Chatbot by UNICEF ( Ma Chu Ni )

The Mental Health Chatbot and Tele-Mental Health OPD Service by Kanti Bal Hospital, a collaborative initiative of UNICEF and CWIN (Child Workers in Nepal Concerned Center), represents a groundbreaking approach to addressing mental health concerns among children and adolescents. Diwash Sarraf, as a Designers Club Member, has been an integral part of this innovative project, contributing his expertise to enhance the user experience and design of the chatbot and tele-mental health service.

Recognizing the critical need for accessible mental health services, particularly for vulnerable populations, UNICEF and CWIN joined forces to establish the Mental Health Chatbot and Tele-Mental Health OPD Service. This initiative aims to provide children and adolescents with a safe and confidential platform to seek support, information, and guidance related to their mental well-being.

The Mental Health Chatbot is an intelligent computer program designed to simulate conversations and provide assistance in a conversational manner. It utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) to engage with users, understand their concerns, and offer appropriate resources and guidance. The chatbot serves as an initial point of contact, helping to triage and provide immediate support to individuals in need.

In addition to the chatbot, the Tele-Mental Health OPD Service enables children and adolescents to connect with mental health professionals remotely through phone or video consultations. This service ensures that individuals who require more in-depth support and intervention can access the necessary care from the comfort of their homes, overcoming geographical barriers and increasing the reach of mental health services.

As a Designers Club Member, Diwash Sarraf played a vital role in shaping the user experience and design elements of the Mental Health Chatbot and Tele-Mental Health OPD Service. His creative expertise and knowledge of user-centric design principles contributed to creating an intuitive and visually appealing platform that enhances engagement and accessibility for young users.
